• Singapore Oceanarium is three times larger than the former S.E.A. Aquarium. • It has 22 zones that combine immersive habitats, multimedia storytelling and emotive moments of wonder to deepen appreciation for the ocean and marine conservation. • It houses one of the world’s largest sea jelly habitats, featuring a 6.8-metre-diameter kreisel tank housing thousands of Moon Jellies. • The Open Ocean zone contains 18 million litres of water and boasts a stunning 36-metre-wide viewing panel, one of the largest in the region. • The oceanarium houses several critically endangered animals such as the Bowmouth Guitarfish, Sunflower Sea Stars and more, contributing to regional species preservation efforts. • The Research & Learning Centre, a cornerstone of the oceanarium, is Asia’s first marine science hub certified as Green Mark Platinum Zero Energy, reinforcing SGO’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in education.
